  3. Well what have we got to say?:

  5. I sure hope Viscorp gets this thing sorted soon and pushes the
  6. Amiga.  That`s all it needs a push to be something really special.
  7. It is interesting to note that while the Amigas had programs like
  8. the excellent Scala 500M, Wordworth 5, A-WEB and CD Compilations
  9. on all day, the PCs all were running the old heap of cack, DOOM (which PC
  10. owners are still saying is great and the best).  Now I think the
  11. Amiga really is starting to be a serious machine.  The games are
  12. dying down and the serious software is starting to take off, and
  13. with Tandy agreeing to keep the A1200 set up like it is now they
  14. are expecting lots more sales.

  18. Who knows, in ten years time will we see Amiga clones, and the PC`s
  19. starting to die out, it's a big step, but it is possible, think about
  20. it.

  22. What else has been happening around here since september?  Well....

  25. I have had more troubles however.  Another one of my disk drives
  26. has died!!!!  But it is now replaced with a PC drive which
  27. will not recognise disk changes, so the disk change command
  28. is always needed. When I get an Amiga disk drive circuit board
  29. I will fit that onto the disk drive to help it out.  Also I have
  30. had a monitor burn out on me.  The devil, which means that my A600 is
  31. now on a 14 Inch SCART television.  Things keep breaking around here.

  33. I have been very busy at work and here in the last few weeks, including
  34. re-designing the room I am in now, so this meant ripping ALL my techno
  35. equipment to bits which took days, there must have been at least
  36. 200 wires to sort out, this includes communication with the next room,
  37. telephones, answerphone, 2 Amigas, an couple of Acorns, a Commodore 64
  38. and a Plus/4.  2 CD-Players and an A570, mouses, VCRs, DAT machines,
  39. a minidisc player, monitors, speakers etc. etc.

  41. Plus knacking a £500 microphone at work which wasn't such a popular move.

  43. I must just point out that my sister has just walked in.  Hang on!
  44. Let me tell everyone this.  My little sister (Debbie) is 15 years old
  45. and she has a Sony Playstation, she wants my old A500.  I do still use
  46. it, now and then.  So here is what I will do.  We will a have a vote.
  47. Along with your disks for the next issue, put a note in saying that
  48. either yes, I should give Debbie my A500, or no.  It's up to the people!

  50. I'm so clumsy at the moment, I better tell you to go and read the rest
  51. of this issue (which was mostly put together by Nick I must add),
  52. so go and read the rest before my clumsiness passes through this file
  53. and explodes your computer.
